Vet Act Of 2011 reserves the right to make modifications to these Terms of Service at its sole discretion. Each time you access the Web Sites, you are deemed to have accepted any such changes. If you do not agree with these alterations, kindly terminate your use of the Web Sites promptly by notifying Vet Act Of 2011 of your disagreement and discontinuing your access. Your continued use of the Web Sites signifies your acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.

Registration Information/Privacy Policy

When utilizing the Web Sites, you may be required to provide specific information to Vet Act Of 2011. Rest assured that this information will be kept confidential, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination

Vet Act Of 2011 retains the right to immediately suspend or terminate your registration or access to the Web Sites, as well as any other services, upon any breach of these Terms of Service or the provision of false or misleading information, without prior notice. Vet Act Of 2011 also reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Web Sites, with or without notice and without liability to you or any third party.

Content of Messages

Vet Act Of 2011 does not pre-screen the content of messages posted on the Web Sites. You are solely responsible for the content of your messages and the consequences they may entail. Vet Act Of 2011 reserves the right to terminate your registration if it becomes aware that you are violating any of the following guidelines:

  • Posting or sending unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable material.
  • Encouraging conduct that could lead to criminal offenses, civil liability, or violations of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Using the Web Sites to distribute or send any illegal material, including but not limited to text, graphics, video, programs, or audio, with the intent to commit illegal activities.

You acknowledge that Vet Act Of 2011 allows access to content protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual and proprietary rights (“Rights”). These Rights are valid and protected in all existing and future media and technologies. The Terms of Service and applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws govern your use of such content. You may not post, copy, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, publish, commercially exploit, or otherwise transfer any material subject to these Rights, unless explicitly provided otherwise. Determining whether any information, software, images, or other content on the Web Sites is not protected by Rights is your responsibility. Vet Act Of 2011 may acquire Rights to use posted materials as described below, and you will not gain any of those Rights by downloading such materials.

By submitting content to any public area of the Web Sites, you grant Vet Act Of 2011 and its affiliates a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, communicate to the public, perform, and display the content worldwide, and/or incorporate it into other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, for the entire duration of any Rights existing in such content. You also affirm that the holder of any Rights has waived all such rights and granted you the right to provide the license as stated above. You also allow subscribers to access, display, view, store, and reproduce such content for personal use (but not to republish). The owner of content placed on the Web Sites retains all Rights that may exist in such content.

The Web Sites are owned and operated by Vet Act Of 2011 in collaboration with others under contractual agreements. Vet Act Of 2011 does not guarantee that the Web Sites will meet your requirements or operate without interruption, errors, or security issues. Vet Act Of 2011 will not be liable for any direct, consequential, or incidental damages, whether foreseeable or not, arising from the unavailability or malfunction of the Web Sites.

You understand and agree that any material or data downloaded or obtained through the use of the Web Sites is at your discretion and risk. You will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or loss of data resulting from the download of such material or data.

The information is provided with the understanding that neither Vet Act Of 2011 nor its members, while participating in the Web Sites, provide legal or professional advice. We may provide links to external resources for your convenience, but we make no representations regarding the quality, suitability, functionality, or legality of any such sites. By clicking on external links, you waive any claims against Vet Act Of 2011 regarding these sites.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Vet Act Of 2011, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, partners, and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, post, or transmit through the Web Sites, your use of the Web Sites, your violation of the Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Limitation of Liability

Vet Act Of 2011 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Web Sites, the inability to use the Web Sites, or the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services or resulting from any goods, services, messages, or transactions obtained or entered into through the Web Sites. Vet Act Of 2011 shall not be liable for unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if Vet Act Of 2011 has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Web Sites and/or content within the Web Sites is to cease using the Web Sites. Vet Act Of 2011’s maximum liability for all damages, losses, and causes of action shall be the total amount paid by you, if any, to Vet Act Of 2011 for access to the Web Sites.

Exclusions and Limitations

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, some of the limitations in sections 7 and 9 may not apply to you.

General Information

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Vet Act Of 2011 and govern your use of the Web Sites, superseding any prior agreements. Failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision in the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the Terms of Service is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the use of the Web Sites or the Terms of Service must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
